i go by Asoma, but whenever that screen name is taken on a site, i flip it to Amosa. either way, as long as it's my art that's posted, it's me. [asoma is latin for "without body" which for me symbolizes how my art BECOMES the representation of my body online, since i can't physically be present.]

i'm both a fine artist and illustrator, which is a rare combination. i use oil painting techniques to paint digitally, and nearly never use filters or color distortion to alter my work. i only use the brush and eraser tools.
i use photoshop 7 and a cheap tablet. wacoms never impressed me much and the CS series is more for photo manipulators than painters, anyway.
i just got out of a 4 year art-block.
